  • Francis Zhou BA MA (TESOL)

    Head of College

    Francis is a Co-Founder of the College.

    Passionate about languages and teaching, he completed a Bachelor of Arts, graduating with Distinction and majoring in Linguistics at UNSW, Sydney. He also holds a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics/TESOL from UNSW, Sydney.

    He was the school captain of Sydney Technical High School in 2008.

    His experience in complex project management and administration in the Higher Education sector stems from more than a decade of experience in student-facing engagement, along with the management of interdisciplinary research networks.

    This complements a keen interest in building a love for writing, expression and literature in his students and staff, many of whom are successfully employed in sectors across government, finance and education.

  • Monica

    Monica Lo BA/BEd MTeach (Primary)

    Head of Junior College

    Monica is part of the Executive Team of the College.

    She graduated with distinction in the Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education (Secondary) from UNSW, Sydney.

    Passionate about instruction, curricula development and inclusive learning, she holds a Master of Teaching (Primary), and is currently teaching in primary schools around South Eastern Sydney.

    Her creativity extends to the Arts, particularly with Music, and she has a keen interest in developing a love and interest in learning from an early age in all her students.

    Monica has transformed the instructional paradigm at the college for primary students, allowing them access to bespoke programs in ESL, and the development of tailored programs which promote a love for reading, writing and experiential learning.

  • Vincent Chow B Med Sc (Hons) MBiomed

    Head of Senior College

    Vincent is a Co-Founder of the College.

    Scoring top bands in both Extension I and Extension II Mathematics for the HSC, he has continued this passion for the subject in his development, implementation and subsequent instruction of parallel curricula.

    He was awarded the degree of Honours, Class I, in Medical Science at the University of Sydney, while also holding a Masters of Biomedical Engineering.

    This passion for helping others and developing a sense of community pervades his work in the medical sector, and he continues to build cohorts of confident mathematicians as a result.

  • Katherine P

    Engagement Lead - Operations

    Currently Studying: Bachelor of Law/Media and Communications (Journalism) - University of Technology Sydney

    Katherine became a student at Accelerate College after participating in the High School, Scholarship and Selective Program. She continued her learning journey with the college until her graduation from high school.

    Having taken the initiative to apply herself to a developing role within the growing college, Katherine’s classroom assistance has evolved into being an integral part of the operations of the college.

    Her administrative processes formed the foundation of the college’s growing team.

    Katherine’s inspired and diligent application to her role has morphed into her current work as the Engagement Lead.

  • Rhea H

    Instructional Lead - English

    Currently Studying: Bachelor of Law/Media and Communications (Writing and Publishing) - University of Technology Sydney

    Rhea became a student at Accelerate College through her start in the High School, Scholarship and Selective Program, graduating from high school with instruction from the college.

    Rhea began as an assistant teacher in the primary classes, showing an aptitude for instruction. She was roundly praised for her compassion and patience, and continues to teach primary classes. Her proficiency and interests make her an apt and worthy choice for the Instructional Lead in our English programs.

    Rhea graduated as School Vice - Captain, and is now a first-year student at UTS. She is passionate about guiding students towards achieving their own academic success.

  • Bianca J

    Administration Lead - Operations

    Currently Studying: Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Animal and Veterinary Science) Honours - the University of Sydney

    Bianca was formerly a student at Accelerate College, having completed the High School, Scholarship and Selective Program. She continued her learning journey, eventually graduating from high school while studying and assisting with maths classes.

    From initially assisting primary and maths classes, Bianca has been part of the curriculum and instructional teams at the college. She has developed administrative processes which have helped to streamline our instructional activities.

    Bianca is a passionate advocate for animal welfare and is currently conducting research activities in diseases across sheep populations in Australia.

  • Angelique H

    Classroom Assistant

    Angelique is our newest team member, and has rapidly become one of our most important classroom assistants.

    Angelique initially started in the High School, Scholarship and Selective School programs with the college. She will be completing her HSC, and will be taking Extension II mathematics.

  • Catherine H

    Instruction Lead - Mathematics

    Currently studying: Bachelor of Actuarial Studies - Macquarie University

    Catherine is a former student of Accelerate College, having taken the High School, Scholarship and Selective Program. She continued on to graduate through the senior programs at the college.

    Catherine started her work as a class assistant. Having developed into one of the team’s most valued and respected instructional staff, she now leads the instruction of students in high school mathematics, in both group and one to one settings.

    Complementing her incredible aptitude for mathematics is her genuine compassion for our student cohort.
